CALGARY - The men's basketball series between the University of Lethbridge Pronghorns and the MacEwan University Griffins originally scheduled for this weekend has been postponed, Canada West announced Thursday.

The change comes as a result of the home team not having the minimum number of players available to safely compete due to COVID-19 related protocols.

The Griffins were scheduled to host the Pronghorns for back-to-back games on Friday and Saturday. No reschedule dates have yet been set and will be announced by the affected teams when determined.

The women's basketball games between the Griffins and Pronghorns will go ahead. Tip off is slated for 6 p.m. on Friday and 5 p.m. on Saturday at the David Atkinson Gym (Canada West TV presented by Co-op).
