Born and raised in Colombia, Julian moved to Calgary in 2010 to complete his studies of Kinesiology and Athletic Therapy at University of Calgary and Mount Royal University. He moved to Kingston, ON in 2016 to work as an Assistant Coach and Goalkeeper coach for Queen’s University (Men and Women). He spent 6 years with the Gaels where he earned a bronze OUA medal in 2017 and OUA Championship in 2021, finishing 5th in nationals. Julian has vast over 6 years of experience working as a coach, Athletic Therapist and Strength and conditioning coach for different clubs and clinics in Ontario. He worked as the High Performance Coordinator for Kingston United and its OPDL program and as the Head Coach for their U17 OPDL Girls team in 2021. He was also part of the Technical Staff for the Jr Gaels Soccer for 5 years and is finishing his National B License with CSA. Currently, Julian is the Head Athletic Therapist for FC Edmonton in the Canadian Professional League.
