The Fitness Centre

The Christenson Family Centre for Sport & Wellness is considered one of the best in Canadian Universities. It hosts a top rated workout facility that athletes have access to, and personal trainers. The comfortable, bright environment is suitable for all health needs. Natural light floods the 5,000-square-foot fitness area, featuring a wide variety of cardio and weight equipment for members and guests to enjoy. Student-athletes have access to the many certified Exercise Specialists with the highest credentials.

Gerry E. Kelly Aquatics Centre

MacEwan Sport and Wellness boasts a beautiful, 25-meter pool featuring a shallow teach area for little ones and Edmonton's only climbing wall in a swimming pool. A 40-person hot tub and steam rooms are also available in the brightly-lit, relaxing aquatic space. The student athletes also can utilize the swimming pool for non-load bearing workouts and also relax in the large whirlpool.

Athletic Therapy

MacEwan University Athletics offers a breadth of athletic therapy services for student-athletes. The department boasts three full time Athletic Therapists, as well as a therapist dedicated to each team. Athletic therapy treatments can include massage, use of electrical modalities, hydrotherapy and exercise prescription. Our athletic therapy team strives for a rapid recovery to get student athletes back on the field of play, and back to health.

Medical Clinic

MacEwan's Medical Clinic advances the health of all MacEwan students and the University community by providing primary health care, prevention focused services and learning experiences which develop health knowledge and skills.

Student Affairs

Student Affairs assists students by helping with educational, personal, and career concerns. When appropriate, they also refer students to individuals and resources in the community.
