While attending TWU, Hamilton also played with the Vancouver Whitecaps residency team in the USL Premier Developmental League ... Following university, he played professionally for FC Edmonton, making 50 appearances in the North American Soccer League in over two years with the Eddies ... He also played 24 games during the 2013 NASL season for the Carolina RailHawks ... Plays with and is employed as a coach by Edmonton Scottish, where he was named Alberta Major Soccer League MVP twice (2016, 2018) and led the Scottish to the 2016 Challenge Trophy, where he was named MVP.
