MacEwan hiring Certified Athletic Therapist for men's hockey team

MacEwan Athletics

MacEwan University Athletics requires a part-time, contractual, Certified Athletic Therapist, or recent graduate of an accredited Athletic Therapy program, to work with the Griffins men's hockey team.

The main responsibilites for this position include attending practices, home and away games; assessments and minor treatments of injuries, pre-game warm ups, documentation of all injuries and treatments, arena clinic maintenance, and effective communication with coaches and head Athletic Therapist at MacEwan University.

Candidates with hockey experience will be given priority. The incumbent must have current Sport First Responder or EMR certification. The right candidate will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills; be self-disciplined, motivated, and able to work well in a team.

Employment Category: Part-time, Contractual

Salary range: $11,000 - $15,000

Location: Downtown Community Arena
