After a season as interim head coach in 2022-23, Chris was officially named the fifth head coach in program history on June 2, 2023 ... Prior to coming to MacEwan, Chris spent five seasons with the Olds College Broncos (2017-22), twice winning ACAC women's hockey coach of the year (2019-20 and 2021-22) ... From 2020-22 at Olds College, he also served as the Broncos' Student Success Coach ... While in Alberta, the Harrow, Ont. native has become a go-to coach and mentor for Hockey Alberta and was recently named head coach of their U18 team that will compete at nationals in November 2023 ... Prior to moving west, he was an assistant coach with his alma mater at the University of Windsor (2014-17) ... As a player, Chris was a fifth-round draft pick of the Ontario Hockey League's Oshawa Generals in 2006 ... He played the majority of his junior career in the GOJHL with the LaSalle Vipers ... He has also been an assistant coach with Junior B LaSalle and Junior C Amherstburg.
