MacEwan Athletics
EDMONTON – Two members of the MacEwan Athletics department will represent the university at the conference level during the 2023-24 season.
Griffins Director of Athletics Joel Mrak has been appointed to the Canada West board of directors, serving a one-year term in the Director-at-Large position.
"I am honoured with the privilege of being able to serve Canada West and am very much looking forward to joining the board for the 2023-24 season," said Mrak.
As well, Griffins Associate Director of Athletics Lindsay McAlpine will serve on the Canada West EDI (Equity, Diversity, Inclusion) Committee during the 2023-24 season.
"I am excited to join the EDI committee as part of the Canada West portfolio," said McAlpine. "I strongly believe that diverse perspectives and ideas enrich the decision-making process, and I hope to bring my unique viewpoint, experiences, and skills to the table, while learning from a terrific group of members."
